Hearing Lab

Turning Philippine Senate hearings into sourced, timecoded, verifiable content. Current focus: the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.

VCPH OSPH Stories LabKodigo/watch

Hearing Lab takes long public-record livestreams and turns them into short, publishable pieces: verbatim quote cards, highlight clips, plain-language analysis, and legal explainers. Every output is stamped to the exact moment in the official record it came from. The goal is a receipts-first brand, accuracy over speed, not a partisan meme page.

THE PIPELINE

01

Ingest

Pull the official Senate video and its captions. Public record only, original source, no re-streamer.

02

Transcript

Timestamp every exchange so each line is anchored to the exact moment it was said.

03

Extract

Surface the quotes, cross-examination beats, and contradictions worth a second look.

04

Verify

Check names and wording against the official Transcript of Stenographic Notes. Check claims against primary sources.

05

Ground

Map each moment to the governing rule through a Constitution and Rules of Court engine.

06

Produce

Quote cards, highlight clips, carousels, and explainers, each carrying its timecode and source.

THE DISCIPLINE

Nothing publishes on faith. Auto-captions are treated as drafts, never as fact, and the official record is the source of truth. Claims are attributed to named speakers with a timecode, characterizations are sourced, and the pipeline is built to respect Philippine cyber-libel law (RA 10175). Drafting is automated. Publishing is not.
